Brand Lab is a 300 level design class at Portland State University. The aim of the class is for students to work with a real client through community partnership. Our client is Ethan Seltzer, an emeritus professor of PSU and a city planner, who is throwing a festival in the spring celebrating the 1972 Portland Downtown Plan.
The class was split up in teams of three. Each team competed to come up with the best concept and branding to encapsulate the ideas and goals that Ethan had for his festival. Our team won the competition and was chosen to move forward with making the project a reality in the fall.
